Selected work — New York

Cross-section of the left building: kitchens, workshops, stacked living floors and a basement garage. Cross-section of the narrow middle tower: a full-height shaft with machinery at its base. Cross-section of the right building: warren of small rooms, stairs and storage over a lower hall. Long base level: T.S.S. tanks and the T.S.S. office on the upper deck, a central gantry, and the F.M. chem tank in the lower hall.
Long base level: T.S.S. tanks and the T.S.S. office on the upper deck, a central gantry, and the F.M. chem tank in the lower hall. Trading floor: glass-fronted offices over open desks, a stock ticker running across the room and a clock reading 14:07. Machine hall: a distillation column, a press frame, a flooded test pit under a gantry and a two-storey stair tower. Tunnel: a stopped train, a raised platform with a locomotive, the field office and a crane car, and below them the T.S.S. boring machine cutting into rock with its trailing cars and heavy equipment car.
